Currently we are looking for a Global Mobility Specialist for our Budapest office to make the team even stronger.


  • Be the first point of contact on for internal clients in questions of assignments and short-term trips requiring work authorization (work permits, work visas, posted worker notifications, and other types of work authorization)
  • Provide full information and ad hoc assistance efficiently and within SLAs
  • Brief assignees and internal clients on the conditions of the assignment package and provide support on understanding of the terms of the mobility policy and any related benefits
  • Analyze complex immigration matters and effectively communicate assessment results/solutions to internal clients in collaboration with outside immigration counsel
  • Manage the immigration process and ensure its compliance for the Company’s population of short-term travelers and assignees in-line with our policies and philosophy; trouble-shoot and escalate issues where needed
  • Disclose process gaps or growth areas and actively address them to improve the existing processes
  • Ensure that all assignment related paperwork and support documentation is in place during the assignment and after it, as requested by the immigration legislation
  • Act as a case manager who is the single point of contact for the assignee to provide advice, guidance and support to the assignee on all matters relating to their immigration and legal requirements (excluding Tax and Social Security) in respect to the assignment
  • Cooperate with internal Tax team on assignment matters
  • Act as a liaison between candidates, internal stakeholders and outside counsels and provide continuous support and coordination to keep the immigration process moving
  • Assist with the development of provider/partner network and manage relationship with them
  • Ensure that the providers are instructed on the Company’s assignment processes and meet SLA's
  • Track and register statuses of cases, reporting issues/impediments and actions/solutions to Regional Mobility Manager/Mobility Director and key stakeholders
  • Prepare reporting and statistics on global assignments, costs, timelines, etc. as needed
  • Support counter-parts in the Global Mobility Function worldwide in managing assignments
  • Support the development and the update of communication and training materials for employees and internal clients


  • At least 2 years of work experience in Global Mobility preferable in managing assignments
  • Completed University Degree
  • Ability to successfully cooperate with various stakeholders to achieve results
  • Ability to negotiate and effectively solve problems
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent written and verbal command of English; knowledge of other European languages is a plus
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong prioritization skills
  • Strong customer focus while working across functions and geographies
  • Resilience and willingness to work in a deadline-driven, flexible schedule environment
  • Ability to follow established processes and contribute to their improvement when needed
  • Understanding of commonly used office and collaboration tools (Office, SharePoint, Google Drive, Skype) and ability to manipulate multiple internal and external platforms
  • High standards of work ethic with ability to maintain confidential data and handle sensitive information
