Magento Solution Architect is a client‐facing member of a cross‐functional team to provide new/existing customers with useful insights on eCommerce functionality and recommendations that align with business needs and drive growth.

You will design and develop web applications and mobile solutions for global brands working with project managers, graphic designers, Magento developers, QA professionals, and client teams to deliver a quality eCommerce solution.

What You’ll Do

  • Engage with business & IT stakeholders to understand required capabilities, integrating business knowledge with technical solutions
  • Provide solution architecture for the business problem, platform integration with third-party services, designing and developing complex features for clients’ business needs
  • Assist sales teams in project estimation & questions that arise during the pre-sales process
  • Stay ahead of web developments and trends and be passionate about collaborating with like-minded teams of engineers to share your interests
  • Lead teams of on- and off-shore Magento teams
  • Work with project managers and developers to ensure quality solutions are delivered
  • Integrate highly customized third-party solutions using a range of commerce technologies
  • Work with Partners and ensure Magento features are leveraged effectively

What You Have

  • Must-have experience with Magento 2
  • Highly required 7+ years’ PHP/Magento development experience
  • Good understanding of Magento's code structure and extension architecture to develop sound technical strategies
  • Experience with Magento B2B
  • Thorough understanding of Mobile First, Responsive Web Design, and UX concepts with the ability to put them into practice
  • Experience in designing and implementing thorough development and testing workflows
  • Proficiency with PHP and MySQL from an OOP perspective, database schema design, LAMP Server administration, experience optimizing web server configurations and scaling web applications
  • Desire to participate in project planning, design review, and architectural meetings
  • Competent knowledge of e-commerce data organization and relationships
  • Exceptional client-facing communication skills, including telephone and in-person presentations
  • Ability to adapt and pick up new technologies
  • Readiness for Business trips

Nice to have

  • Certification in “Magento 2 Certified Solution Specialist”
  • Experience with Magento Cloud
