What You’ll Do
- Create business strategies to successfully achieve client business goals:
- Act as the BU leader and Account Manager with clients, internal teams and Sales Leads
- Align with EPAM Account Managers to co-develop / support Account plans and strategies for delivery, growth, and client satisfaction
- Manage and develop team competency coverage through cross-training, leadership development and succession planning
- Monitor and manage team goals and performance and ensure team understands how they align and relate to broader business goals and strategies
- Empower to make decisions for their team and ultimately is accountable to ensure their team creates their deliverables on budget, on schedule, and with appropriate quality
- Understand the intersection between technology, customers, and business
- Maintain team's work plan and/or annual plan (e.g. resource assignment changes, schedule changes, completion status etc.)
- Track and create/provide team status using standard templates and actively participate in appropriate internal and external status meetings
- Serve as an expert Consultant leading Business Transformation/Product strategies and roadmaps
- Stay abreast of current and emerging trends, unique opportunities and challenges of the space/markets and geographies in which the clients operate, and how it affects clients’ business and initiatives
- Develop and oversee delivery approaches:
- Work with account management, project/program management to ensure successful delivery through an integrated delivery model
- Responsible for shaping the overall solutions for the BU, properly scoping goals and initiatives, strategizing pricing engagements, establishing optimal operating models and project team organization
- Build successful relationships:
- Establish and cultivate strong relationships with clients at senior levels as well as external and internal partners to maximize growth within the overall account/client portfolios
- Manage effective relationships with key internal executives, Solution SME’s, and Sales and Delivery Leaders
- Deliver on EPAM’s growth and performance objectives
- Build teams. Develop and mentor people, act as a career counselor and create a high performing organization (foster relationships, resolve conflicts etc.)
- Develop and deliver quality and timely performance feedback, collecting input from all appropriate sources
- Develop the vision for EPAM’s Business Unit goals and objectives, support company financial goals by achieving revenue and profit targets
What You Have
- 12+ years of demonstrated experience in the strategic development and growth of a region or Financial Services industry portfolio
- Knowledge of emerging technology, business models, subject matter, and trends
- Experience managing business units of $150+ million in revenue
- Strong problem solving and creative thinking abilities
- Ability to operate at the strategic level, yet close enough to the details to add value to clients and be a real support to the team
- Experience in managing and monitoring performance metrics across global enterprise client accounts and account portfolios
- Exceptional leadership/management skills and superb oral and written communication skills, with seasoned presentation skills
- Strong industry knowledge or experience with particular emphasis on strategy, consulting, team management and product development
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Proven ability to manage client engagements under high stress to successful completion
- Sound business acumen; strategic skills; common sense
- Effectively manages up and down
- Strong negotiation skills
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
