DESCRIPTION


Currently we’re looking for Senior Build Engineer. Our client is a multinational pharmaceutical company. EPAM has been requested by our client to provide Consulting Services to support creating and executing client’s API Strategy.

This position is a part of our new EPAM Anywhere program for remote workers. EPAM Anywhere offers a variety of IT jobs for remote workers. Join us to work on ambitious and long-term projects, get a stable workload, and enjoy a work-life balance!

Responsibilities

  • Automate processes across solutions layers (Mobile, Web, API, Microservices and Database)
  • Configure and implement SCM gitflows and CI/CD tools
  • Support the engineering teams in growing and maintaining the Infrastructure as code / Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery
  • Build and release processes for multiple solution layers including front-end (Mobile and Web), API, Microservices and Database, for dev, test, and production servers
  • Mentoring development teams, reviewing pull requests, and guide the evolution of the development pipeline
  • Environments monitoring using APM tools

Requirements

  • DevOps knowledge (branching strategies, deployment strategies, patterns, best practices)
  • DevOps experience on Microsoft Windows (integration/packaging with npm and nuget, deployment) and IIS
  • Solid real work experience with on-premises infrastructure
  • Solid knowledge of automating processes/code in any of: Python, Ruby, Go, node.js, JavaScript or another modern language
  • Solid experience with Windows ecosystem (scripting, automation, maintaining vms, troubleshooting)
  • Solid Knowledge in CI/CD and SDLC - managing and preparing Dev, Test and Production environments (creating pipelines, troubleshooting, preferable at Teamcity)
  • Experience with modern application packaging, deployment, containerization, bug tracking tools and other
  • Ansible or similar (writing roles, troubleshooting, understanding use cases, experience in managing multiple environments)
  • Skills in setting up a monitoring system, creating custom metrics and alerts
  • Experience in creating scripts that connect to API, perform actions, parse results, store logs
  • Hands-on experience with SonarQube
  • Technical experience with Atlassian stack integrations
  • High level of maturity, ability to perform root cause analysis
  • Good communication skills
  • English B2 and higher

Nice to have

  • Basic understanding of cloud concepts (VPC, EC2, S3, cloud networking, managed services, maintaining services using CLI/console/API), handson cloud experience
  • Experience with: appdynamics, jfrog artifactory
  • Experience with mobile deployment and test automation using either Micro Focus or AWS Device Farm or Microsoft AppCenter
  • Experience and solid knowledge on computer and network security
  • Experience with multiple Application Security Tools (SAST, DAST, IAST, MAST) and the integration into the SDLC via CI Automation and Integration
  • Knowledge of PowerShell
  • Hands-on experience with test automation of iOS native applications built with Swift 4 and/or Objective-C
  • Hands-on experience with test automation of web applications built in ReactJS
  • Hands-on experience and proficiency in API test automation and standardization
  • Basic experience in gathering technical requirements in talks with developers
  • Experience in leading a small team
  • Experience in working in a highly regulated environment and comply with security restrictions
