Currently, we are looking for a strong Google Cloud Platform Architect with experience in application and data migration to cloud projects with Java as the main programming language.

  • Convert the technical requirements of a project into the architecture and design that will guide the final product
  • Bridge the gaps between complex business problems and solutions in the cloud
  • Work as a team with other members of a technology team, including DevOps engineers and developers to ensure that the right technology or technologies are being built
  • Assist in documenting current and future state architecture
  • Assist in collecting and documenting Data Fabric requirements
  • Work with Data Fabric alliance for requirement implementation
  • Design Purposing plug-in based on business and transformation rules
  • Provide training for developers on how to onboard data to the Data Fabric


  • In-depth understanding of ETL/ELT processes and experience of working side by side with Data Architects or playing similar role on a project
  • Ability to analyse an existing setup, as well as the future state platform and define the migration roadmap
  • Good English level, spoken and written
  • Strong knowledge and experience in Google Cloud Platform
  • Google Cloud Platform technical background:
    • Compute
    • Identity & Security
    • Networking
    • Storage
    • Big Data services such as: Dataproc, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Data Composer, Dataprep
  • Understanding of data governance
  • Understanding of ETL/ELT flows and reference architecture in GCP
  • Experience of Java applications’ migration to GCP
  • Experience of data migration to GCP
  • Excellent interpersonal and team skills
  • Cross-functional team leadership experience
  • Stakeholder communication experience, ability to explain project roadmap to business stakeholders using the language business can understand
  • Strong time management skills
  • Being an efficient problem solver:
    • Knowledge of the following technologies to add value: Methodologies & Best practices: Agile, Scrum, Kanban, DevOps, PMP
    • Technologies: Java, J2EE, Servlet, Swing, Spring, Spring MVC, Spring Security, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud Streams, Struts, JDBC, REST, SOAP, XML, ANT, Maven3, Kafka, Flume, Spark, Sqoop, Hive, Impala
    • Databases: Oracle, DB2, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Cassandra, HBase
    • Application Servers: WebLogic, WebSphere, JBoss, Tomcat
    • O.S. & Tools: UNIX/Linux, Subversion, StarTeam, CVS, GIT, Jenkins, Bamboo, SonarQube, WebScarab, Paros Proxy, JUnit, Selenide, SoapUI, Eclipse, IntelliJ, Toad, DB Visualizer, ERwin
