ABOUT THE PROJECT


Our Client is a large asset management firm. This opportunity is building a system for Private Equity investment advice. Our Client tied up with one of its partnering companies to attract the investors who have access to private equity to offer them investment opportunities to grow their businesses.
We are looking for two scrum teams to start and a third scrum team further down the road. We have pilot engagement with one of its partnering companies offering private equity funds to clients.

DESCRIPTION


We are looking for Developers, preferable a full stack development or experience with most of the technologies listed below.

Responsibilities

  • Build back end Micro-services and REST APIs
  • Implement quick prototypes
  • Unit testing, performance testing
  • Conduct code reviews
  • Follow practices: code review, unit testing, CI and other best practices
  • Participate in architecture review
  • Participate in discussions with designers
  • Participate in SCRUM ceremonies
  • Participate in estimation and planning sessions
  • Mentor other developers and collaborate with peers
  • Work with stakeholders including the Executive, Product, Enablement, and Design teams to assist with Data-related technical issues and support their Data infrastructure needs

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or similar; Master's degree in Computer Science
  • 6+ years of experience designing, developing Java applications and Micro-services, REST APIs
  • Experience in working in a SCRUM team
  • Fluent English (as it is full time onsite job)
  • Coding, preferably full stack development or experience with most of the technologies listed below
  • Ability to analyze legacy application and define target state design/architecture
  • Experience in agile methodology
  • Technical Skills:
    • Back End - AWS cloud,JAVA 8, Spring 4, Jax-RS, Apigee Microgateway
    • AWS Fargate, AWS DynamoDB, Lambda, S3
    • Other technologies - BitBucket, Bamboo, JIRA and Confluence, Junit, Jmeter and API testing, Splunk
  • Soft Skills:
    • Excellent communication (fluent in English)
    • Client facing
