Our Client is a financial services firm headquartered in St. Louis, Missouri, United States. It serves investment clients in the U.S. and Canada, through its branch network of more than 14,000 locations. The company currently has relationships with nearly 8 million clients and $1 trillion in assets, under management worldwide. The firm focuses solely on individual investors and small-business owners.

We are looking for a Chief QA Automation Engineer to be a part of a high performing agile software development team. You’ll work with a dynamic team comprising of Quality Engineers, Developers, Business System Analysts, and Software Project Managers.

What You’ll Do

  • Establish and follow industry standard automation & functional testing methodology
  • Create Test Strategy, definition and execution based on best practices, client environment and limitation
  • Create/update/review Test Estimation Projects/Sprint Planning effort
  • Prepare and drive test plans, Quality Reporting on metrics, Quality status Reporting
  • Identify process improvements, conduct gap and root-cause analysis and make recommendations to peers and management
  • Participate and provide expertise in the Functional & Automation Test Suite Tools product selection process
  • Review test scenarios and seek reviews as required
  • Actively participate in Agile development, testing and CI/CD methodologies
  • Create and execute tests
  • Support Business teams during UAT execution and feedback sessions
  • Test Environment set-up/management, monitoring and streamline release management to QA Environments
  • Participate in multiple meetings with IT owners, business owners and product or team members

What You Have

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or equivalent technology experience
  • Proven leadership experience in the Quality Assurance
  • Experience in automation of web service APIs (REST/SOAP) using SOAPUI/RestAssured
  • Experience in performing code and test case reviews
  • Experience with Selenium Webdriver or similar tools in this space
  • Experience with JIRA and any plugin for test management and defect management
  • Experience working in Agile environment
  • Experience with REST API testing, Front end testing and 3rd party integration
  • Experience with enterprise tools, like Git, Jenkins, DevOps Pipelines
