We’re looking for a motivated Business Analyst, ideally with background in energy or Oil & Gas, to work with a major Upstream operator located in Thailand.

A candidate will work with business stakeholders to gather, clarify and document requirements to Agile development team to support development of software solutions. And partner with Product Owners and Developers as part of an Agile Team delivering solutions.


  • Organize and conduct business analysis over a period of a project
  • Gather and formalize functional and non-functional requirements, and document them as user stories or other relevant artefacts
  • Be responsible for obtaining requirements sign-off from the stakeholders
  • Analyze and profile data sources in conversations with data engineering team
  • Take part in functionality design (together with UX designer and dev team)
  • Identify and address data-related issues in the assigned products
  • Facilitate UAT process with the Customer and Delivery Team
  • Conduct workshops and refinement sessions as needed
  • Work with onsite and offsite dev teams on a daily basis, provide them guidance on a product vision and stakeholder’s priorities
  • Require minimal supervision


  • 4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst
  • Native/Excellent spoken and written Thai and native grasp of Thai business etiquette to handle Thai clients
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent spoken and written English
  • Ability to Interact with people at all levels effectively
  • Experience with any major task tracking system (Confluence, Azure DevOps, TFS, etc.)
  • Knowledge of SDLC, agile development processes
  • Experience of working with distributed teams and managing technical communications and deliverables
  • Ability to gather and elaborate requirements fast in outsourced environment, which includes schedule flexibility to decrease the impact of time difference
  • Possibility to go on business trips to Bangkok up to 20% of time if required

Nice to have

  • Oil and gas experience and industry experience
  • Experience with industrial applications, IOT, data analytics and sciences
  • Experience with data analysis, data engineering, and visualization of data to drive decisions making
  • Experience with data science methods and tools
