If you’re looking for an entrepreneurial role with the resources of a big company behind you, take a look at the Principal Technology Consulting role at EPAM Systems.  PerfX is a new group within EPAM dedicated to making clients’ engineering teams more transparent and efficient. PerfX combines EPAM’s Perf -- an analytics dashboard that brings all of a dev team’s activities into a single, simple, powerful view – with EPAM’s EngX consulting, honed over years of collaboration with the world’s leading software engineering organizations. This is the perfect role for someone who’s run different parts of a business and now wants a broader role.   

You’ll be working closely with EPAM’s world-class engineering and consulting teams, as well as entrepreneurial organizations that have been acquired into the company and are transforming the organization from within. If you’re a start-up kind of person who’s bigger-company curious, let’s talk! 

What You’ll Do

  • Creating an organization to sell, support, deliver, and extend PerfX
  • Developing and iterating on the go-to-market messaging and plans, and selling the service yourself as we scale
  • Interfacing with EPAM account management and delivery teams, and acting as an internal champion for the organization
  • Developing financial models and plans for growth

What You Have

  • 10 or more years in management positions in software development, service delivery, or some combination, with responsibility for organizations of 20 people or more
  • Demonstrated success growing the business you were a part of, whether in revenue or capabilities if you were not directly revenue-responsible
  • A deep understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle, obtained either from work as a software developer or by consulting with software engineering organizations
  • The ability to perform client discovery, articulate a value proposition, and close business
  • A hunger to build an organization, a product, and a line of business; a growth mindset and sense of ownership that encourages you to step into situations that don’t have a playbook and write your own
  • Excellent written and spoken English, with the verbal facility to shape a marketing message. Any non-English language is a plus
  • When travel is once again an option, this role may require it up to 20 percent time. You can live and work anywhere in North America, but must be comfortable with early meetings to collaborate with colleagues in Europe
