DESCRIPTION



We are looking for an energetic Senior Software Test Automation Engineer for our Hong Kong Delivery Center to make the team stronger.

Working within a team of highly skilled technology and business experts, you will have the opportunity to employ and improve your own technical skills as well as learn about the Equity business.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop test automation scripts
  • Leverage and extend the build chain automation tools (CI/CD)
  • Work alongside BAs and developers to understand Business & Domain
  • Contribute towards manual testing when required

Requirements

  • Technical skills:
    • 5+ years of experience in an IT delivery environment with specialization in build chain automation
    • Experience in designing, creating and using test automation frameworks
    • Proficiency in Java
    • Proficiency in Linux operations and shell scripting
    • Basic understanding of the FIX protocol (optional)
  • Soft skills:
    • Fluent in written and verbal English
    • Ability to communicate at all levels, with both business and technology staff
    • Ability to work independently
    • Open minded, eager to learn and self-motivated
    • Good understanding of Agile methodologies, especially Scrum

  • Business knowledge will be an advantage but not mandatory
