Currently we are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer - Azure Knowledge for our Krakow office.


Our client is one of the largest investment banks in the world.

You'll be working in a global team, with colleagues in the US, UK and Poland. We are developing a Strategic data distribution solution on Azure Cloud infrastructure. The team is responsible for ensuring Customer and Instrument Reference data is available to all Trading and Settlement systems in Cloud. The team works closely with Finance Risk IT and other teams consuming Reference data.


  • Design and build new ci/cd pipelines on azure devops, git, teamcity, kubectl, azure cli
  • Participate in design and development of ci/cd pipelines on azure platform
  • Automate existing proof of concept via using terraform on azure
  • Develop scripts to automate the deployment of resource stacks and associated configurations
  • Work with cloud engineering and networking teams and build infrastructure in azure
  • Work with azure kubernetes service (aks) to containerize and deploy micro-services
  • Provision cloud infrastructure using terraforms/arm templates
  • Educate other team members and advocate for scalable and maintainable architectural decisions
  • Interface with enterprise azure cloud operation team to enable azure services for developers
  • Provide support and troubleshooting issues reported by microstrategy business users
  • Keen to learn more about oracle and related database technologies to improve our existing systems


  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field
  • Strong corporate working experience as a DevOps engineer
  • Strong experience in designing and supporting azure platform, including iaas and paas
  • Strong, hands-on programming experience of c# or python on the mix of etl on azure
  • Hands on experience with ci/cd build chain and the tools and development processes behind (teamcity, jenkins or similar tools)
  • Hands on experience on knowledge with version control and build tools such as github/gitlab, maven, teamcity & nexus
  • Hands on experience in container-based architecture and deployments (docker/kubernetes)
  • Experience on test automation and regression tools
  • Design and implement continuous delivery pipelines that serve the purpose of provisioning
  • Non-prod and production environments
  • Knowledge of unix/linux platforms and proficient with scripting languages like shell
  • Scripts and python is must
  • Experience with cloud automation tools such as arm templates or terraform
  • Experience with configuration management tools like puppet, helm, or ansible
  • Exposure to bi technologies such as microstrategy

Nice to have

  • Exposure to azure datalake, azure databricks and spark platform
