Description


As a Transformation and Program Management Principal within our Business Consulting practice, you will engage with clients in a leadership role to drive enterprise transformation programs forward. This includes aligning client’s organizational strategy to a proposed program of work, orchestrating client and EPAM teams to ensure client success, and contributing to EPAM’s growth by supporting EPAM’s world-class engineering teams to make the transformation ‘real’. You will also serve as a key leader in the expansion and growth of our Transformation and Program Management team and broader consulting practices across EPAM Continuum.

Expectations include defining transformation strategies and related programs, articulating KPIs for program success, supporting governance and change management efforts, communicating and earning trust with client leadership and executive sponsors, working closely with key EPAM delivery leads on optimizing proposed project workstreams, and creating reporting structures to monitor successful value realization over time. In addition to client service and delivery, the Transformation and Program Management Principal is expected to make significant contributions in both business and practice development.

A critical component of this role is to partner with EPAM’s Practices including Software Delivery, Product Development / Engineering, Design and Business Consulting to successfully engage and create a plan to address our clients’ business challenges.

What You’ll Do

  • Shape overall transformation and program proposal scope working closely with EPAM’s account, presales, and delivery team leads
  • Engage with clients to understand their strategic vision of the proposed initiative and determine gaps that need to be addressed through strategic focused workstreams
  • Determine client readiness of transformation efforts and work closely with our OCM teams to design recommended workstreams to support the overall transformation program
  • Lead the creation of a program transformation roadmap, balancing and optimizing the unique dynamics of a client’s situation (people, processes, technology, schedule and budget), by working closely with client and EPAM cross-discipline leads
  • Work with our OCM teams to design and stand up the client governance structure needed to manage the transformation effort, including roles and responsibilities
  • Work as a player-coach as the role of a digital transformation leader
  • Create and lead the overall program reporting cadence and format to ensure continued monitoring and business value of the program, utilizing aspects of agile best practices
  • Actively communicate with and effectively influence all levels of the client organization
  • Demonstrate superior presentation, organization, project leadership, and meeting facilitation skills
  • Lead, model and support the continued evolution of differentiated transformation and program management methods, tools, and approaches for EPAM Continuum
  • Drive practice growth and development through leadership of collateral development, thought leadership, and internal awareness building and evangelizing aligned with Transformation and Program Management practice goals
  • Identify new business development opportunities and lead the efforts to respond to requests for proposals generated by the broader Business Consulting and EPAM teams

Requirements

  • More than fifteen (15) years of relevant experience in an established consulting firm environment. A blend of consulting and industry is also acceptable. Recent experience must include leading digital and transformative initiatives, communications strategies, and cross-discipline problem solving
  • More than ten (10) years providing solutions in support of technology-driven transformation programs
  • Viewed internally and externally as an expert on Transformation; understands and speaks confidently; keeps current on trends within emerging technology, best practices and policies, uses broad base of experience to advise clients on how transformation strategies work to keep in line with the rapidly changing technology landscape
  • Knowledge of Agile and Design Thinking methodologies
  • Bachelor's degree. MBA or Master’s degree preferred
  • Ability to travel as needed

  • This position operates in a remote capacity, but you must live within driving distance to an EPAM office. Your recruiter will discuss specific details about work location during the initial interview process
