Lead DevOps Engineer, Azure - Remote Description

Responsibilities
- Act as the trusted technical advisor for the clients to resolve complex Azure Infrastructure and DevOps challenges
- Communicate effectively via video conferencing for meetings, technical reviews and onsite delivery activities
- Assist the clients with the configuration and deployment of their Azure infrastructure, which include but not limited to the following services: accounts, identity and access management, network architecture, application security, observability, cost optimization, and billing
- Provide the clients with the guidance on how to design their cloud applications for optimal scaling, including CDN design, load balancer setup, caching, compute optimizations, continuous integration and delivery pipeline, and others
- Design solutions using Azure PAAS services
- Implement event-driven architecture and container-based solutions using Docker and Kubernetes as an example
- Develop DDD and other cloud-native patterns to create correctly split microservices
- Setup modern DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science and/or other advanced certification along with significant experience
- Strong development skills (7+ years), including expertise in developing and deploying enterprise distributed solutions on hybrid infrastructures
- Familiarity with IT security best practices such as encryption, certificates, and key management
- Experience in Cloud adoption, migration and deployment on Microsoft Azure
- Preferred: Electric Flow and Azure DevOps, Grafana, ELK, Mesosphere DCOS
- Excellent hands-on / programming skills Jenkins Ansible, Kubernetes Docker, Azure cloud experience, AKS, Terraform, Splunk Spark is must
- Experience in working with TDD, CI / CD, Deployment Management, Define, design and create CI/CD pipeline, Environment configuration on Azure Cloud
- Strong communication skills, to both technical and non-technical audiences
