Currently we are looking for a Embedded Team Lead for our Budapest office to make the team even stronger.
Our client manufactures safety-critical control systems and would like to start new product line with the help of EPAM. Teams will work on a wide range of tasks, from the productization of existing solutions to research and verifying new proof of concepts. We are looking for applicants on the medior and senior levels with or without team-leading experience.
What You’ll Do
- Planning and facilitation of the team’s meeting the deadlines
- Coordination among the customer, external vendors, and the team
- Root cause analysis and troubleshooting of production issues
- Implements and analyzes the quality metrics in a project, participates in the definition/ review /audit of the metrics and results
- Help the team members gain knowledge, motivate them, help to collect missing information
- Mentor and coach less experienced colleagues
What You Have
- 5+ years of industry experience with embedded C
- Team leading experience (team size from 3-5 + people - Able to guide and coordinate a group of people)
- Good people management skills
- Expected to be able to follow and enhance a defined software development process and enforce it on a project
- Outstanding / Good communication skills in English (both written and verbal) - willingness to learn fluent technical communication with project stakeholders
- High-quality, unambiguous project and customer-related documentation, and reporting
- Strong device-level C programming experience
- Experience with boot loaders, initialization code, and real-time operating systems
- Experience with the following communications protocols and diagnostics (SPI, I2C, LIN, CAN)
