The Business Development Manager is responsible for the business development and sales activities of the assigned for Japan.


  • Win new clients (LOGOS) for EPAM that delivers the Sales Revenue Targets
  • Actively sell EPAMs competences to existing and new clients
  • Have regular interaction with KEY CLIENTS at all levels
  • Builds and maintains a pipeline of new business opportunities across territory
  • Oversee preparation of business' value propositions, sales plans, RFPs/RFQs/ RFIs
  • Adequately brief the EPAM Council on main legal business issues for MSAs negotiations
  • Record all client facing activities in CRM, clearly and punctually
  • Be involved in pricing strategies, cost estimates and contract negotiations
  • Coordinate with Marketing on external sales related events and attend trade shows


  • Expected to have at least 3-7 years of sales management experience in Japan
  • Proven experience in high value software solutions and consultancy services, revenue generation and client-direct selling
  • Ability to sell Solutions end to end
  • Expected to have a good understanding of software development processes
  • Expected to work independently and manage day-to-day activities
  • Able to manage a sales territory, drive opportunities and attain and exceed sales quotas
  • Possess excellent negotiation and people skills
  • Expected to have abilities to quickly learn
  • Understands the business environment and able to identify opportunities for adding value to the Customer
  • Excellent coach and communicator, who is able to maintain good working relationship with various shareholders and work in a fast paced environment, with strict timescales
