Responsibilities
- Gather, refine and evaluate user and project requirements in collaboration with business stakeholders
- Execute all design stages from research, concept, user stories, user journeys, wireframe, mock-up, information architecture to high-fidelity designs until hand-off to delivery and engineering
- Work with a user-centered design approach to rapidly ideate, validate designs through wireframes, prototypes and user studies
- Visualize scenarios using story boards, process flows and sitemaps
- Working with design libraries, being able to create design assets and applying them to context
- Clearly articulate and present findings as well as results to peers and key stakeholders
- Being able to facilitate workshops with clients and stakeholders
- Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g. responsiveness and accessibility)
- Prepare and perform usability studies
Requirements
- 5+ years of work experience in user experience design, usability engineering or similar
- Proven work experience as a Usability Engineer or similar role
- Portfolio of performed projects
- Experience with data visualization would be an advantage
- Knowledge of Figma and Sketch is a must
- Great team spirit and strong communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders
- Problem-solving attitude
- Good time-management skills
- Being used to a dynamic, iterative and collaborative environment
- Speaking business-proficient German (B2+) and English (B2+) is a requirement
- BSc in Design, Computer Science or relevant field
- Background in Financial, Automotive or Medical would be helpful
