We are looking for a talented and experienced Data Integration Engineer to join our team and play a pivotal role in designing and implementing data integration solutions. In this role, you will work with cutting-edge technologies and collaborate closely with product, engineering, and data science teams to drive data product development
Responsibilities
- Design and implementing Data Integration solutions, modelling databases using Cognite Data Fusion platform as well as development of custom Python-based Data ingestion components
- Work with product, engineering and data science teams to understand data product requirements, evaluate new features and architecture to help and drive decisions
- Build collaborative partnerships with architects and key individuals within other functional groups
- Perform detailed analysis of business problems and technical environments and use this in designing high-quality technical solutions
- Actively participate in code review and testing of solutions to ensure it meets specification and quality requirements
- Contribute into project documentation
Requirements
- Advanced Knowledge of Python. Production experience in ETL development
- Advanced knowledge of Relational Databases SQL
- Good understanding of SDLC, experience with Version Control Systems (Git, SVN)
- Advanced knowledge of Data Quality principles
- Knowledge / experience with Cognite Data Fusion is a plus
- Advanced knowledge of Data Integration tools (Azure Data Factory, AWS Glue, GCP Dataflow, Talend, Informatica, Pentaho, Apache NiFi, KNIME, Alteryx, SSIS, etc.)
- Advanced-level knowledge of leading cloud data warehousing solutions (e.g. Redshift, Azure Synapse Analytics, Google BigQuery, Snowflake, etc.)
- Knowledge of at least one Cloud in a deep and comprehensive manner, a few others at least on "awareness" level
- Experience with data modelling. OLAP, OLTP, ETL and DWH / Data Lake / Delta Lake / Data Mesh methodologies
