Middle Cloud Operations Engineer Description
We are excited to announce an opening for a dedicated Middle Cloud Operations Engineer to support our mission to modernize and standardize the IT landscape across our power plants in Greece. The role will primarily focus on cloud migration and digital transformation projects that aim to enhance productivity, optimize costs, and improve security operations.
This position requires readiness for business trips across Greece. Candidates should be prepared for occasional travel within the country as part of their job responsibilities.

Responsibilities
- Discover applications hosted on-premises and define requirements for modernizing their infrastructure to the Cloud (GCP)
- Ensure high availability and reliability of cloud services for Power Production Sites
- Optimize cost and performance of cloud resources
- Implement security best practices in a cloud environment to enhance data protection
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive infrastructure identification, improvements and standardization
- Engage with third-party vendors for seamless integration and support
- Support the completion of Cloud IT services rollout and modernization efforts across all Power Production Sites
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Proficiency in Cloud Operations and Setup with experience in scaling infrastructure to meet growing demands
- Detail-oriented individual committed to high-quality work and exceeding expectations
- Collaborative team player with a customer-centric focus
- Capability to autonomously manage tasks and work under tight deadlines
- Strong English communication skills at B2 level and fluency in Greek
