We are looking for an experienced Lead DevOps Engineer to take command of our large-scale infrastructure operations for high-stakes, public-facing products. The ideal candidate will possess extensive hands-on experience and provide strategic leadership in evolving our DevOps processes to enhance efficiency and ensure utmost reliability.

Responsibilities
- Direct and enhance our site reliability engineering efforts to optimally support our infrastructure needs at a larger scale
- Lead the development, implementation, and management of advanced CI/CD pipelines, with a strong emphasis on automation and increasing deployment frequency
- Architect and sustain infrastructures using cloud computing platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure, while providing expert guidance to the team
- Deploy advanced infrastructure-as-code practices using tools such as Terraform and Ansible for more streamlined configuration and deployment activities
- Oversee the deployment and management of containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes, ensuring best practices are followed
- Mentor and manage a team of engineers to monitor system health and performance using tools such as Prometheus and Grafana, and ensure issues are resolved swiftly
- Strategize the scaling and optimization of web socket-based infrastructure to accommodate significant traffic loads efficiently
- Lead cross-functional collaboration to guarantee that project requirements, deadlines, and schedules are met or exceeded
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation and system diagrams to coherently communicate system design and architecture to stakeholders at all levels
Requirements
- Comprehensive background in Site Reliability Engineering with at least 5 years of experience, particularly in high-demand production environments
- 1+ years of relevant leadership experience
- Proficiency in OOP languages, with a strong preference for Python
- Expert-level knowledge in cloud computing platforms including AWS, GCP, or Azure
- Demonstrated expertise in leading CI/CD process implementations
- Advanced skills in containerization technologies and orchestration with Docker and Kubernetes
- Proficiency in monitoring tools such as Prometheus and Grafana
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail
- Proven leadership in delivering reliable, efficient, and scalable DevOps solutions

- Prior experience with Azure
- Experience or leadership in projects involving ML/AI technologies
