Senior Java Developer Description
We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled Senior Java Developer to join our innovative team.
In this role, you will lead the design and implementation of advanced technology solutions and drive the definition of product requirements to support critical applications used by our business partners. You will play a key role in shaping application architectures, guiding technical decision-making, and mentoring team members. Additionally, you will collaborate across cross-functional teams to manage complex data integration and analytical capabilities within the music supply chain, ensuring data-driven decisions optimize our business strategies.

Responsibilities
- Define, design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and continuously improve complex software systems
- Lead and manage individual and cross-functional project priorities, timelines, and deliverables
- Oversee the architecture and implementation of core capabilities supporting the music supply chain and ensure scalability and reliability
- Foster collaboration with internal and external teams to refine requirements, establish delivery schedules, and align on high-level strategies for projects
- Provide technical leadership in designing and delivering high-quality code for complex projects and contribute significantly to enterprise-level initiatives
- Mentor and guide junior and middle developers to promote professional growth and adherence to high engineering standards
- Continuously evaluate and improve development practices, processes, and team efficiency through feedback loops and automation opportunities
- Solve challenging engineering problems, including high-performance, high-throughput services and distributed systems
- Drive improvements around quality, performance, scalability, and automation while building cross-team relationships
- Partner with product and leadership teams to align technology strategies with business outcomes and product roadmaps
Requirements
- 5+ years of work experience in a software engineering role, with a strong focus on Java development
- Proven expertise with Java, JVM-based languages, Spring Boot, Spring Data, and the broader Spring ecosystem
- Extensive experience working across the full software development lifecycle, including continuous integration, unit and integration testing, functional testing, code reviews, and proper documentation
- In-depth expertise with pub/sub technologies such as Apache Kafka, AWS Simple Notification Service, RabbitMQ, or similar systems in high-throughput scenarios
- Strong experience in designing and integrating APIs, along with robust knowledge of authorization protocols like OAuth
- Hands-on expertise with container orchestration technologies like Kubernetes and relational database systems such as MariaDB or MySQL
- Advanced experience working with cloud platforms like Amazon Web Services, including Amazon RDS, Virtual Private Cloud, and related cloud infrastructure tools
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and collaboration skills to align technical strategies with team goals and business objectives
- Highly skilled in time management, problem-solving, and breaking down complex challenges into actionable, manageable tasks for the team
- Proficient understanding of Agile methodologies with experience driving Agile practices within development teams
- B2 level of English or higher, with an emphasis on technical communication skills
Nice to have
- Hands-on experience with distributed caching techniques and technologies (e.g., Redis)
- Expertise in enterprise application integration and identifying opportunities to bridge systems cohesively
- Knowledge and experience in monitoring application performance, identifying bottlenecks, and optimizing both infrastructure and code
