DESCRIPTION


Our client is a product company which goal is to provide the customers with a platform for customizing their broadcasts. The main purpose of their solutions is to simplify the way how companies can target and customize their content for the end users.

The platform ensures that relevant content, promotions, offers and advertising are presented to each customer at a targeted time, and on the best device. It is supported by multiple platforms, such as: TVs (Smart, Android, Apple), RW, Native mobile, Roku.

About the team and processes:
• Agile development methodology;
• Team of 10+ developers, 3+ QA engineers, UI/UX, Scrum master, BA;
• Partially distributed team (Prague, London, St. Petersburg, Ukraine);
• Test environments: TV targets, mobile, RW;
• Introduction training conducted by customer qualified QA team;
• Main goal for the whole team – constant quality improvement;
• Maybe be possible to have the rotation between the customer’s projects;
• Will be possible to become a stream lead on the location.

Responsibilities

  • Work within the Analyst team to assist with the preparation of test plans and the testing of software to company guidelines and standards
  • Assist in the preparation of test plans and test scripts
  • Ensure high quality and accuracy is maintained through to software release
  • Prepare and maintain test plans for use on automated testing tools
  • Prepare a test plan and test scripts to test each software component and demonstrate the business condition under test and the expected results
  • Provide feedback to the development team and ensure the work is carried out in accordance with the schedule and the quality requirements
  • Provide estimates and feedback to the Software Development team for project scheduling purposes
  • Other:
    • Liaise with Project Managers
    • Work to the specified timeframe or budget
    • Communicate the job status to project leader
    • Submit timesheet records on daily basis
    • Contribute to the positive growth of work environment and Analyst team
    • Demonstrate and maintain a positive attitude to all assignments
    • Other duties as required

Requirements

  • You are smart, experienced, creative and naturally inquisitive Tester, who has a strong passion for testing and technology
  • You believe in the importance of embodying our clients’ brand into the overall experience and you have a strong understanding or interest of TV apps
