DESCRIPTION


Currently we are looking for a Senior Software Engineer in Test for our Wroclaw office to make the team even stronger.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze business and technical requirements
  • Review project documentation, user stories, and user interfaces
  • Design test cases, write checklists and occasionally perform manual regression
  • Interpret, analyze, and report test results in every phase of the development process
  • Automate existing and newly created test cases
  • Prepare automated regression tests based on manual test scripts
  • Execute tests, analyze results and report status to the team
  • Configure CI test runs, collect metrics on test automation execution
  • Collaborate with customer and teams in other locations
  • Identify potential quality issues in our systems/processes and drive needed change
  • Test failure root cause analysis
  • Test environment support

Requirements

  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • Experience on web/desktop/backend applications testing
  • Good understanding of Test Life Cycle and SDLC
  • Close cooperation with developers (log analysis, environment checks)
  • Knowledge of design patterns used for test automation
  • Understanding of Behavior/Test Driven Development
  • Experience working with XML and JSON markup languages
  • Responsible, self-motivated team player
  • Basic UNIX/linux user experience
  • Experience with TeamCity/Jenkins configuration and execution

Nice to have

  • Financial Services background
  • Good programming skills with Java
  • Experience in UI automated testing using Protractor, Selenium
  • Experience with Agile methodologies
  • Advanced level of English
  • Experience with JMeter, LoadRunner, SoapUI, postman, restAssured
  • Familiarization with Gherkin expression language
  • Understanding of performance / load testing
