What You’ll Do
- Translate architectural requirements in a cloud-based solution
- Monitor and manage distributed container-based platform
- Configurate system as code (infrastructure as code)
- Support pre-production and production service applications at scale
- Create systems designed to scale quickly and be fault-tolerant
- Code infrastructure systems to deploy and operate a fully automated and AWS production environment
- Maintain continuous monitoring of infrastructure
- Support centralized logging of systems and applications
- Deal with the Development team to improve code performance in the production environment
- Work with the Product, Dev and QA to design and deploy new sites and services as required
What You Have
- 3+ years of DevOps/systems engineering experience
- Deep knowledge of networking and Linux administration (Debian, Amazon Linux, CoreOS)
- Production experience with core AWS services (EC2, VPC, Auto Scaling, ELB/ALB/NLB, Route53 and others)
- Proficiency in running configuration management software (Ansible is preferred)
- Experience with IaC: Terraform, CloudFormation, CDK
- Expertise in Linux containers (Docker, rkt) and container schedulers (Kubernetes is preferred)
- Acquaintance with scripting languages (Go, Python, JS and etc.)
