Currently we are looking for a Magento/PHP Developer for EPAM PHP Solutions department to work on the Magento platform (versions 1 and 2). We use Agile methodologies, the most up-to-date technologies, Continuous Integration practices. We constantly learn by participation in R&Ds projects and share experience. Our plan is to collect a team of professionals capable to contribute to the development of one of the most popular e-commerce solutions in the world.

Responsibilities
- Module development from scratch
- Support and development of the existing code base
- Examination and clarification of the project requirements and documentation
- Following and understanding of the established development processes
- Oral and written communication with clients (task resolution status, clarification of requirements)
- Project scope in particular involves:
- Migrating Magento 1 code to Magento 2
- Implementing GraphQL APIs for a React frontend
- Customizing Checkout and My account area (which will be hosted in Magento) to look similar to the rest of application. (native Magento, not React)
Requirements
- Strong Magento 2 experience, ideally with Magento full stack knowledge:
- GraphQL experience and ideally headless Magento experience
- Experience with microservice / API-driven Magento architectures
- Infrastructure/deployment/DevOps knowledge is a bonus
