We are looking for a Software Testing Team Leader. Being a part of the Delivery team, you will be managing a team of software testing engineers in Kyrgyzstan. As an expert in Software Testing, you’ll play a resource manager role to rationalize Agile Methodology in the testing team, partnering with multiple functional roles/teams to ensure the delivery.
What You’ll Do
- Fulfil the people manager role for a group of test engineers in your unit
- Hire the right people at the right time
- Help employees in professional growth and career development
- Ensure a necessary and sufficient level of employees' professional motivation
- Represent and protect employees' interests on various levels within the company (corporate, unit, project)
- Make decisions regarding employees' salary changes and obtain the required approvals from senior management
- Organize information exchange between employees and units
- Support and promote the corporate culture within the unit, promote the corporate image for employees and external candidates
- Create and optimize necessary working conditions for employees
- Support delivery teams with participation in project coordination and supervision
- Monitor the subordinates' work on the projects through communication with Delivery/Project Managers and Account Managers
- Provide adequate project staffing upon request of Delivery/Project Managers and Account Managers
- Plan and optimize employees' replacement process (succession planning, rotation, relocation)
- Support interactions between the unit and other units shared services within the company
- Build an effective organizational and managerial structure in the unit
What You Have
- Experience in management of the testing unit
- Ability to manage distributed test teams, experience in collaboration with Software Testing leads across teams/locations/sub-systems and alignment of the standard processes with them
- Experience in test strategy implementation for a platform/landscape/set of connected systems/sub-systems
- Experience in setting up test processes from scratch across various systems/sub-systems
- Experience in project process evaluation and testing optimization to deliver business value
- Good communication skills at all levels
- Intermediate or higher level of spoken and written English
- Ability to prepare high-quality, unambiguous projects and customer-related documentation
- Expected to work independently with management supervision
