The Workplace Services Manager is responsible for all elements of the facilities management life cycle ensuring the smooth running and the logistics of the Hungarian office operations. Ensuring the safe, secure and dynamic delivery of a full-service catalogue of operations across 40,000 Sq.m of office space in Budapest, Szeged and Debrecen.

The role will be responsible for the management of the effective and efficient use of the real estate portfolio, that appropriate office services are provided, and that cost awareness and revenue generation are maximized through stringent management controls and closely working with the local Senior Management Teams. In this role you will also need to provide an exceptional customer service experience for the Clients of EPAM.

  • Acquire and dispose of real estate as required to ensure a lean and efficient real estate portfolio aligned to the business needs
  • Establish and maintain satisfactory relationships with individuals at all levels within the Company and the Client
  • Manage all facilities operations to provide best in class service to all employees across Hungary
  • Ownership and oversight local physical security to provide a safe and compliant working environment
  • Vendor management of the full suite of suppliers including active roles in tendering processes, selection in line with company procurement policies and robust supplier management
  • Preparation, department ownership and participation in audit processes relating to clients, internal requirements and gaining accreditations
  • Plan, manage and execute the local offices P&L to ensure efficient and accurate use of company financial resources


  • Experienced ‘hands on’ Workplace Services Manager who is able to work on their own initiative, take ownership and work effectively with a wide range of people
  • Financial management skills are essential as are strong organizational, contract management and communication skills
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with experience of negotiating and influencing people, including senior staff
  • Experience managing events and hospitality in a corporate environment
  • Experience of managing compliance, audit processes and bespoke secure environments setup
  • Proactive, professional, hard-working ‘solution’ driven individual
  • Previous experience in a similar environment preferable
  • Excellent presentation, communication, IT and interpersonal skills are essential
  • Be fully proficient in all Microsoft Office programs (including Word, Excel & Outlook)
  • Able to prioritize a busy workload whilst maintaining excellent attention to detail
  • Being open, transparent and positive
  • Proactive attitude in developing new ways of working and positively bringing ideas for improvement
  • Ability to share learning, develop others and enable process improvement
  • Discretion when supporting activities and handling sensitive data
  • Excellent standards of both Hungarian and English language essential
