Responsibilities

  • Create business strategies to successfully achieve client business goals:
    • Act as the Client lead with clients, internal teams and business unit. Own an established account or small portfolio of accounts
    • Drive account revenue within the client / account portfolio as well as accelerate opportunities to influence and sell end-to-end EPAM services
    • Serve as an engagement owner working directly with client business and/or IT teams to position the engagement and EPAM for success (accountability)
    • Stay abreast of current and emerging trends, unique opportunities and challenges of the space/markets (Life Sciences primarily) in which the client operates, and how this affects our clients’ business and initiatives
  • Deliver on EPAMs growth and performance objectives:
    • Develop strategic and tactical plans that align with company financial goals by achieving revenue and profit targets
    • Develop and oversee delivery approaches and teams in liaison with Client, Partners and Delivery Management colleagues. Work closely with project/program management to ensure successful delivery through an integrated delivery model
    • Manage financial and contractual aspects of account engagements
  • Build successful relationships:
    • Establish and cultivate strong relationships with clients at senior levels as well as internal and external partners to maximize growth within an account/client portfolio
    • Partner with clients to help craft vision, creating compelling customer value propositions and strategies
    • Support sales / pre-sales activities by helping to assess opportunities, responding to RFPs, creating proposals and presentations and helping to close new business

Requirements

  • A minimum of 6 years in a client facing business consulting and technology advisory role. Client relationship development is required
  • A minimum of 5 years of industry knowledge and consulting experience within Life Sciences, Medical Devices or MedTech (educational plus professional experience is ideal)
  • Exceptional leadership / management skills and superb verbal and written communication skills. Professional presentation skills, executive presence, and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to manage client engagements under high stress to successful completion
  • Exposure to selling with and through key business and technology partners and experience nurturing partnerships
  • Strong problem solving and creative thinking abilities with attentiveness to details and execution
  • Broad knowledge of technology, business models, and trends across a wide spectrum of technical solution offerings for Life Sciences and Healthcare clients
  • Experience in managing and monitoring performance metrics across accounts and account portfolios
  • Natural curiosity and a desire to grow
  • Ability and willingness to travel to US West Coast clients as needed
  • Bachelor degree or higher. MS or MBA preferred
