Currently we are looking for a C++ Developer for our Budapest office to make the team even stronger. The client operates the infrastructure for the Swiss and Spanish financial centers, catering to a broad, international client base. They provide services relating to securities transactions, and provision of financial information. In this project EPAM responsible for modernizing a high frequency message parsing/classification system. The project is using SAFe methodology, processes have been established.
DESCRIPTION
Currently we are looking for a C++ Developer for our Budapest office to make the team even stronger. Responsibilities
- Be resourceful in using the necessary tools and creating a needed environment
- Understand existing ecosystem before being able to add features, functions, and enhancements
- Plan with known expectations and dependencies
- Follow & improve processes - with special focus on code reviews, among others
- Contribute to a collaborative and responsive team that owns a world-class product service
- Through awareness question priorities and influence plans & designs
Requirements
- Experience with modern C++ (up to C++17)
- Experience with make / cmake
- Experience using the boost library
- Proficiency using linux as a user – the candidate should be familiar using the terminal to build the app
- 4+ years' experience developing in C++
- Intermediate English language knowledge
Nice to have
- Experience with Jenkins / Sonarqube or willingness to learn/use these tools
- Experience with low latency application development
