  • Provide architectural strategy and leadership to developing and implementing initiatives that improve innovation in a constantly evolving web content space
  • Champion and define architecture in a Microservices-based, API-first, Cloud-native, and Headless architecture
  • Drive strategic technology initiatives, working with Product Managers, other Architects, Engineers, SME's and the broader client organization
  • Define MVP scope for various initiatives and design solutions that align with enterprise technology strategy
  • Lead the solution team, ensuring that roadmap items are assessed, and high-level architecture deliverables produced in time for handover to the engineering teams
  • Evaluate emerging technology for use across multiple domains, which include RFPs, vendor evaluations and creation of Architecture Design Proposals
  • Collaborate with Product Owners and other core platforms to drive product vision, manage scope and expectations
  • Develops technical performance architecture that solves most complex performance issues
  • Provide technical leadership and mentoring of technical leads and development teams
  • Have a strong focus on the high quality throughout the entire process, working closely with the Quality Assurance stream
  • Architect Digital Consumer experiences based on a foundation of enterprise technologies that define web content and eCommerce strategy


  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 8+ years of experience in software development solutions of customer facing web applications. Expert in C#, ,NET Core, Azure, Microservices and Cloud migration
  • 3 years of experience in architecting solutions of customer facing web applications
  • Deep understanding of object-oriented programming, relational databases, and complex integration landscapes
  • Familiarity with API-first Headless architecture implementation in eCommerce or Web Content space will be desirable
  • Large scale implementations of Cloud Native Solutions, Containers, Microservices
  • Familiar with Azure or equivalent cloud platform, including auto-scaling and global deployments of application architecture
  • Mastery in multiple programming languages and platforms
  • Ability to independently craft and deliver large complex projects
  • Experience with Agile development methodology (e.g., Scrum), Scaled frameworks desirable
  • Experience with international platform/product developer desirable (multilingual, multi-currency, data protection/privacy) desirable

Must have experience

  • Ability to provide coaching to team members to support their understanding of the architecture and aid in their technical development
  • Ability to work with other architects, principal architects, and Chief Security and Information Officers to shape the architectural vision and roadmap for the organization
  • Ability to drive long-term design strategies that span multiple complex projects, deliver technical reports and performance presentations to customers and at industry events
  • Ability to build an environment for transparent and open discussion of all issues
  • Inclusive work style to involve the right people, from your team and others, to resolve critical issues
  • 15 years’ experience in the Information Technology arena, at least 3 years management or leadership experience in this field
