GL Senior Accountant (Accounting Shared Services) Description

We are seeking a GL Senior Accountant for our global shared services team.

What You’ll Do
- Maintain US GAAP bookkeeping of specific types of activities (primarily accruals and prepayments) for several EPAM subsidiaries
- Ensure the accounting close of these subsidiaries in SAP following the established procedure
- Provide monthly BS&PL variance analysis of subsidiaries
- Investigate the correct accounting of irregular operations of these subsidiaries
- Reconcile the expenses related to corporate cards following the established procedure
- Communicate with local accountants on bookkeeping issues and process improvement on regular conference calls
- Deal with audit requests and be involved in regular meetings with external and internal auditors
- Participate in regular improvement process activities with the IT development team
What You Have
- Minimum 3 years of accounting working experience
- Background in Accounting, Finance
- Experience in international accounting (IFRS / US GAAP)
- Good MS office skills, especially Excel
- English level – B1, both written and spoken
Nice to have
- ACCA / DipIFR certification
- Knowledge of SAP or other ERP systems
