What You’ll Do
- Design and implement database & cloud / hybrid solutions
- Work with product and engineering teams to understand requirements, and evaluate new features & architecture to drive decisions
- Build collaborative partnerships with architects and key experts within other functional teams
- Analyse business problems & technical environments to design high-quality technical solutions
- Participate actively in code review and solutions testing to ensure it meets best practices
- Build and foster a high-performance engineering culture, supervise and lead junior/middle tech team members
- Write project documentation
What You Have
- Strong knowledge of complex performance tuning
- Ability to analyze the on-prem infrastructure (DR, HA, Security)
- Understanding the housekeeping processes (archiving, purging, retention policies, hot/cold data, etc.)
- Expertise in data security (audit, data masking and obfuscation)
- Hands-on development experience using classic and modern cloud data components
- Background in designing, implementing, deploying and monitoring scalable and fault-tolerant data solutions in the cloud
- Proficiency in CI/CD principles and best practices
- Solid skills in data solutions troubleshooting, monitoring and support
- Competency in performance tuning and optimization, bottleneck problem analysis
- Fluency in English

- MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL
- Fault Tolerance (Clustering, Replication, etc.)
- SQL optimization and relational DB principles, etc
- Cloud providers stack (AWS / Azure / GCP): Storage, Compute, Networking, Identity and Security RDBMS and Cubes, NoSQL, Data Processing, Data Analysis and Visualization, etc
