We are looking for a seasoned Agile Coach who will act as a SAFe Expert on a challenging long-term project with a Client.

The customer if faced with the challenge to master a massive transformation process with a complete re-implementation of the current core system. The SAFe methodology was selected as best suited for the coordination of the various teams involved. We are looking for you to support several Agile Release Trains by coaching them about the lean and agile mindset and principles.

What You’ll Do

  • Observe the lean and agile practices used at the moment and identify strengths and weaknesses
  • Coach the management team of the SAFe Solution Train and several SAFe Agile Release Trains
  • Point out improvement options in the SAFe ceremonies, the lean agile mindset and the ways of working
  • Work with the various stakeholders in- and outside of the engagement to remove impediments in the agile processes
  • Advertise the advantages of the SAFe methodology and the lean agile mindset in the organization
  • Support organizational change management to ensure, that the journey towards agility is sustainable and continues indefinitely, also after the engagement

What You Have

  • Knowledge and experience in scaling lean and agile practices
  • Knowledge of the process model and methods according to the SAFe framework (Large Solution), proven by certification project assignment and relevant advanced trainings
  • Significant experience in launching and running SAFe Agile Release Trains in a leading role
  • Practical knowledge of program management in large scale IT transformations
  • Long experience in software development with agile methodologies
  • Confident in a political working environment and excellent stakeholder management skills on all levels
  • Versed communication skills and convincing personality to gain respect without formal authority
  • Mother tongue German and excellent English language skills are mandatory
  • You’ll be expected to work on client site 30% of the time
  • Experience in IT projects in the public sector is nice to have
