Responsibilities
- Taking ownership of the technical solution, providing leadership to the customer, project manager, domain architects, domain specialists, and application engineers to advance and deliver solutions
- Analyzing, executing, and streamlining DevOps practices to ensure efficient and effective development processes
- Facilitating the development process and operations, creating an environment conducive to collaboration and productivity
- Establishing a robust DevOps channel across the organization, promoting best practices and continuous improvement
- Setting up a continuous build environment to accelerate software development and deployment processes
- Architecting comprehensive and efficient practices, ensuring the highest level of quality and performance
- Guiding developers and operations teams in resolving issues and challenges
- Monitoring, reviewing, and managing technical operations to maintain system stability and performance
- Demonstrating strong leadership skills in managing and mentoring teams
- Consulting and collaborating with architects to design and deliver optimal solutions
- Learning, promoting, and improving recognized methodologies to enhance solution design and delivery
- Mentoring IT professionals to foster their growth and professional development
- Utilizing tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket to streamline workflows and enhance collaboration
Requirements
- Solid background in Linux/Unix systems administration
- Experience in the e-commerce domain, understanding the unique requirements and challenges of the industry
- Proficiency in continuous integration orchestration and infrastructure as code
- Expertise in Azure Cloud as a public cloud platform
- Familiarity with container orchestration using Kubernetes (GKE) and Docker Swarm
- Experience with Docker and Docker Compose for containerization
- Proficiency in Jenkins, including Jenkins shared libraries, Jenkins DSL, Pipelines, and Groovy
- Knowledge of Helm Charts for efficient deployment management
- Proficiency in Ansible for configuration management
- Strong understanding of source control management using GitHub and GitFlow
- Familiarity with build tools such as Ant, Maven, Gradle, and Node
- Experience with Selenoid, Selenoid GGR, and Report Portal for effective testing
- Knowledge of Java support and troubleshooting, Apache Solr, ZooKeeper, SAP Hybris (e-commerce), and Tomcat
- Proficiency in artifacts management using Artifactory
- Familiarity with SonarQube, quality gates, and VeraCode for code quality assessment
- Experience with load balancers/reverse proxies like Nginx
- Strong networking skills, including network troubleshooting capabilities
