EPAM is looking for an experienced AWS Cloud Engineer who will be responsible for designing, developing and implementing a cloud-native service architecture. In this role, you will collaborate closely with implementation teams, providing expert technical guidance and determining priority areas for cloud deployment.
What You’ll Do
- Architect and design solutions that meet both functional and non-functional requirements
- Define requirements and deploy cloud-based microservices, creating necessary environments
- Monitor and ensure the integrity of data pipelines
- Automate Cloud deployments using CloudFormation
- Oversee Cloud security to maintain a secure environment
- Monitor resource usage and cost, implementing optimizations for various AWS resources
- Deploy and manage AWS Serverless application running on API Gateway, DynamoDB, Amplify, and Lambada (for automated code execution)
- Integrate 3rd party applications such as payment gateway, email and SMS service providers
What You Have
- Experience with the core AWS services including CloudFront, API Gateway, Lambda, Elasticsearch, DynamoDB
- Background in the serverless approaches using AWS Lambda and AWS Step Function
- Solid knowledge of object-oriented programming languages such as Python, Go, JavaScript / Node.js or others
- Expertise in security practices, utilizing IAM Roles, KMS and other security features
- Familiarity with monitoring solutions such as CloudWatch, Prometheus and the ELK stack
- Ability to troubleshoot distributed systems
- Skills in writing infrastructure as code (IaC) using CloudFormation or Terraform
- Proficiency in building or maintaining cloud-native applications
