EPAM is looking for a Key DevOps Engineer to join our team in Antwerp, Belgium aligned to one of the core project streams for a valued Insurance customer. The customer has a diverse application landscape with two major technology stacks - Java (new products) and .NET (legacy) and there is robust CI/CD pipeline in place.
You will be required to be on client site in Antwerp 1-2 days a week and you must be a fluent English and Dutch speaker.
Responsibilities
- Actively collaborate with multiple stakeholders to understand project objectives and requirements, ensuring the smooth execution of DevOps processes
- Take ownership of infrastructure setup, maintenance, and monitoring, ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of deployed systems
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines, streamlining the deployment and release process for both new and legacy technology stacks
- Automate routine tasks to enhance operational efficiency and reduce manual intervention
- Facilitate effective communication and support between development, QA, and Level 2 support teams to ensure seamless project execution
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of DevOps practices, sharing insights and best practices with the team. Requirements
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
- Proven experience in DevOps practices, showcasing expertise in infrastructure setup, maintenance, and CI/CD pipeline development
- Strong understanding of cloud technologies and platforms, with proficiency in Azure services such as Azure Functions, Azure Kubernetes Service, Azure Logic Apps, Azure Service Bus, and Azure Storage
- Proficiency in scripting languages like Bash and PowerShell, as well as experience working in Linux environments
- Familiarity with Jenkins and Kubernetes, with the ability to effectively configure and manage these tools
- Excellent communication skills to foster collaboration among diverse teams and stakeholders
- Fluent English and Dutch speaker
Nice to have
- Experience with Azure DevOps for streamlined collaboration and integration
- Understanding of Microservice Architecture Patterns to design scalable and modular systems
- Knowledge of Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) principles, contributing to the development of robust and interoperable solutions
