Responsibilities
- Participate in planning, definition, and high-level design of the solution and exploration of solution alternatives
- Ensure that IT solutions align to defined business strategies and use influence to ensure execution meets long term objectives, architecture runway, and market needs
- Manage the relationship with IT, Business and Operations partners at all levels all the organization
- Participate in Solution Demos, often demonstrating the capabilities that their Release Trains have contributed to the overall solution
- Align technology approaches across Release Trains
- Operate within an economic framework when analyzing the impact of design decisions
- Work with customers, stakeholders, and suppliers to establish high-level solution intent, and the solution intent information models and documentation requirements
Requirements
- Strong technical background with a core competency in software development and/or architecture is desired
- 10+ years of experience related to IT delivery or software development
- 5+ years of experience in IT architecture
- Broad knowledge of current technology trends and design patterns
- Proven experience in building strong partnerships with key stakeholders, including senior-level executive sponsors
- Experience in defining strategic roadmaps and establishing priorities, with experience in managing the competing needs of multiple stakeholders
- Executive presence, communication skills
- Ability to influence leaders, and drive change and transformation while working across all levels of the organization
- Strong Knowledge of Agile methodology and frameworks like Scrum, Kanban, utilizing CA Agile Central/Rally or a similar tool
- Hands-on experience with Agile techniques: User Stories, Features, Capabilities and Epics development and refinement, Continuous Integration, Behavior Drive Development (BDD) test automation framework, Continuous Deployments, Regression Testing, Pair Programming, Burn Down Metrics, Velocity, etc
- Hands-on experience with software development processes and procedures to understand team needs including fundamentals of iterative and incremental development
- Solid conceptual understanding of technology components, DevOps tools and practices
