We are looking for a Software Engineer who is skilled in Tableau data analysis, organizing training sessions, and creating detailed process documentation. This exciting role will see you implementing a proprietary data collection system at various manufacturing sites and work closely with internal teams (like reliability and hardware testing), as well as external manufacturers. As one of key members of the team, you will also lead the creation and troubleshooting of visualization Tableau dashboards using data from the proprietary data collection system. What You’ll Do
- Implementing the proprietary data collection system at manufacturing sites in collaboration with internal and external teams
- Identifying key milestones and driving both internal and external teams to meet these milestones
- Facilitating system access for external manufacturer users, including administrative tasks
- Conducting systematic operation training for both internal and external teams in Mandarin and English
- Providing daily troubleshooting support
- Utilizing the collected data for Tableau analysis and visualization, interacting with both internal and external teams
- Managing Tableau access for users, including troubleshooting and administrative tasks
- Developing and refining widely used Tableau dashboard formats
- Creating Tableau documentation, SOPs, and training videos in English for both internal and external teams
- Delivering systematic Tableau training and supporting daily troubleshooting
- Developing automatic data reformatting scripts using Python or other languages
- Collaborating with manufacturers to understand current data formats and developing scripts for automatic reformatting to meet system requirements
- Training manufacturer IT teams in script creation
What You Have
- Strong schedule management skills to deliver timely, high-quality results
- Excellent presentation and problem-solving abilities, capable of addressing complex Tableau data issues and technical queries
- Proficiency in both English and Chinese (written and oral)
- Ability to multitask and manage feedback from multiple teams simultaneously
- Proficiency in Tableau, with the ability to understand and develop complex data source dashboards
- Experience in delivering training and troubleshooting is preferred
- Professional Python skills and knowledge of reliability testing and engineering are advantageous
- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams
- A Bachelor's degree in Data Analysis, Statistics, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
- At least 2 years of experience in Tableau/data processing solutions
