As a Senior Director (m/f/d), you will be leading a team of account managers responsible for a growing portfolio of Financial Services accounts. You are strategic, resilient, engaging with people and a natural self-starter. What You’ll Do

  • Act as the leader and Account Manager with clients, internal teams, and Sales Leads
  • Align with EPAM Account Managers to co-develop / support Account plans and strategies for delivery, growth, and client satisfaction
  • Manage and develop team competency coverage through cross-training, leadership development and succession planning
  • Serve as an expert Consultant leading Business Transformation/Product strategy and roadmaps
  • Stay abreast of current and emerging trends, unique opportunities and challenges of the space/markets and geographies in which the clients operate, and how it affects clients’ business and initiatives
  • Shape the overall solutions, properly scoping goals and initiatives, strategizing pricing engagements, establishing optimal operating models and project team organization
  • Establish and cultivate strong relationships with clients at senior levels as well as external and internal partners to maximize growth within the overall account/client portfolios
  • Develop the vision for EPAM’s Business Unit goals and objectives, support company financial goals by achieving revenue and profit targets


  • 10+ years of demonstrated experience in the strategic development and growth of a region or Financial Services industry portfolio
  • Knowledge of emerging technology, business models, subject matter, and trends in the Banking, Financial Services and Capital Markets
  • Ability to operate at the strategic level, yet close enough to the details to add value to clients and be a real support to the team
  • Experience in managing and monitoring performance metrics across global enterprise client accounts and account portfolios
  • Exceptional leadership/management skills and superb oral and written communication skills, with seasoned presentation skills in German and English
  • Strong industry knowledge or experience with particular emphasis on strategy, consulting, team management and product development
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proven ability to manage client engagements under high stress to successful completion
