Responsibilities
- Monitor, manage, and resolve incidents related to Progressive Deployment (PD) during US business hours
- Support critical services running on the PD platform, ensuring low Mean Time to Resolve for incidents
- Collaborate with global teams for seamless handoffs and continuity of service
- Contribute to building and improving processes and documentation for incident management
- Perform moderate-level development tasks to support new features or reduce technical debt in the product backlog
- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues in collaboration with cross-functional teams
- Assist in ensuring operational excellence through testing, monitoring, and alerting
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in software development or support engineering
- Hands-on experience with incident management in high-availability systems
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and concepts
- Strong knowledge of programming languages including Java, GoLang, or Python
- Basic understanding of containerization and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes
- Competency in using AWS technologies such as EC2, ECS, EKS for troubleshooting and operations
- Understanding of monitoring and alerting tools to ensure service health and availability
- Ability to analyze logs, debug issues, and provide timely resolutions
- Proficient in writing and maintaining code for moderate-level features and fixes
- Experience with service mesh technologies like Istio or Linkerd
- Experience working with Spinnaker and other CI/CD pipelines
