Responsibilities
- Act as a proactive developer, working with public cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Design ETL workflows, generate data flow diagrams, and establish data flow patterns
- Mentor team members as needed and review processes to suggest efficiencies
- Read and comprehend project requirements and documentation, and create design and technical documentation
- Implement ETL transformations and create stored procedures and functions
- Tune query performance
Requirements
- 3-5 years of relevant development experience with data integration, data management, data storage, data modeling, and database design
- Experience with Airflow and proficiency in cloud data flow (AWS, Azure, GCP preferred)
- Knowledge of SQL Server, Informatica, Microsoft Master Data Services, Microsoft Access, and SQL Server SQL Agent
- Experience with at least one relational database (RDBMS: MS SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL)
- Familiarity with industry-standard data integration tools (Azure Data Factory, AWS Glue, GCP Dataflow, Talend, Informatica, Pentaho, Apache NiFi, KNIME, SSIS, etc.)
Nice to have
- Knowledge of cloud data warehousing solutions (Google BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift, Azure Synapse Analytics)
- Experience with application programming (PHP, Java, .NET)
- Familiarity with Agile SDLC methodologies
