We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Application Support Engineer to join our team.
The ideal candidate should have experience in application and infrastructure support, with strong troubleshooting skills and expertise in Azure Monitor using KQL, Dynatrace and SEQ. This role involves real-time issue resolution, log analysis, and collaboration with support and engineering teams to ensure smooth application operations.

Responsibilities
- Provide L2 application support, investigating and resolving incidents efficiently
- Analyze logs and monitor system health using Azure Application Insights and Log Analytics, Dyntrace and SEQ
- Assist in troubleshooting web applications, REST APIs, and WebSocket technologies
- Support mobile applications on iOS and Android (basic troubleshooting, installation, permissions)
- Write SQL and MongoDB queries to extract and analyze data
- Work with ITSM processes (Incident, Problem Management, Change Enablement)
- Engage with customers via calls and chats for real-time issue resolution
- Utilize ServiceNow for ticket management and tracking
- Document Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and contribute to the knowledge base
- Work in shifts, including morning (7 AM UAE time) and at least one weekend per month
Requirements
- Experience as an L2 Application Support Engineer or similar role
- Strong troubleshooting skills in Azure Cloud Technologies
- Proficiency in PowerShell, KQL queries, SQL, and MongoDB
- Knowledge of Web Application Architecture and APIs
- Familiarity with ITSM practices and ticketing tools like ServiceNow
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and work in a dynamic environment

- Experience with scripting or automation for support tasks
- Exposure to cloud monitoring tools and DevOps practices
